With the Version
0020 of the "IC Column Heater" Metrohm presents the time-proven
column oven in a form which allows even 250 mm long columns to
be thermostatted. The control unit remains identical with the
Version 0010. The only alteration is to the column heating element
which now accomodates, for example, the new A Supp 7 column for
the determination of oxohalides.

821
Compact Online IC
|
The 821 Compact
Online IC extends the Metrohm range of industry-conform online
ion chromatographs. Up to ten different sample flows can be freely
selected for analysis. The design of the 821 Online IC allows
the reliable analysis of anions with and without suppression as
well as cations down to the lower ppb range. Simple operation,
a high degree of data safety, great autonomy and precise results
are guaranteed even under very critical environmental conditions,
e.g. in production or machine halls.

IC Dual Suppressor
|
With the new
828 IC Dual Suppressor Metrohm has solved the equation 1 + 1 =
3.
This means that you pay for two suppressors and receive three:
|
- one chemical
suppressor
- one CO2
suppressor, and
- one electronic
suppressor.
|
 |
| As
the 828 IC Dual Suppressor is able to eliminate CO2,
this opens up a completely new field of applications: the whole
performance of the flexible carbonate-bicarbonate system including
gradients can be used without any limitations. The injection and
carbonate peaks are reduced to the absolute minimum. |
PCR Post
Column Reactor
6.2836.000
|
A
small but very powerful accessory: with the "Post Column Reactor"
post-column derivatization can be carried out reliably and reproducibly.
The color reagent is added by the 752
Pump Unit. The built-in pulsation absorber ensures
a stable flow of reagent. Some standard methods require color reactions.
For example, with the PCR both chromate and bromate can be determined
down to very low concentrations. In the cation analysis sector there
is also a range of interesting possible applications as an extension
to conductivity detection. |

Metrosep
Carb 1 - 150 (6.1013.010)
|
With a capacity
of 700 µmol (Cl-) the short and therefore low-capacity
version of the Metrosep Carb 1 - 250 (capacity 1530 µmol Cl-)
is the preferred separating column whenever retention times which
are as short as possible are the primary interest. This column
is also suitable for the separation of polysaccharides with a
length of up to 30 glucose units.
|
Metrosep
A PCC 1 HC (6.1006.310) and
Metrosep C PCC 1 HC (6.1010.310)
|
Enlargement
of the packing bed has increased the capacity of these two enrichment
columns, which are both made completely of PEEK. This high capacity
is mainly necessary wherever matrix effects could overload the
enrichment column or whenever samples with a high ionic strength
are to be analyzed.
|
Metrosep
A Trap 1 (6.1014.000)
|
This trap
column is a completely new development and efficiently removes
even lowest-level anionic contaminants from the eluent. In particular,
when working with gradients the use of the trap column guarantees
a stable baseline even when the ionic strength changes.

Gradient
mixing spiral (cpl.) 6.2758.000
|
The
gradient mixing spiral is a successfully tested accessory for mixing
eluents with different strengths for use in high-pressure gradient
systems. The "Mixing T" in combination with the one-meter-long coiled
0.5 mm PEEK capillary guarantees optimal and reproducible mixing. |
Inline Filter
PEEK (6.2821.120)
|
Inline filters
should always be used to reliably protect the separating column
and suppressor against any contamination from the eluent, regeneration
solution or rinsing solution. The fine 2 µm material of the filter
frit removes both particles and bacteria / algae from the solutions.
Contaminants can be easily recognized on the filter frit, which
can be exchanged quickly and easily (6.2821.130 spare filter frit,
10 pieces).
